LOCALLY PRODUCED, HOME GROWN & HAND CRAFTED
All of our vendors produce their goods locally. Many of them carry the Kentucky Proud label, and have crafted or grown their items for the community here in Madison County.
No store bought items will be allowed for sale at our Market! If we are selling it, we have spent time cultivating it, growing it, or making it. Come out and see the variety of produce and products our great vendors have to offer!
A VARIETY OF VENDORS
Our new market will offer a large variety of vendors. We want to be more than just a place to jump out and get some vegetables! Although we will have plenty of those, we also want our market to be able to showcase some of our local artists and crafters. We want all aspects of homesteading to be presented and available to our community. Some of the items that will be available for sale:
- Homegrown vegetables & fruits
- Artisan Style breads
- Goats milk soap and lotions
- Planter boxes
- Hand-sewn and Crocheted items
- Jams & Jellies
- Hand Carved times made out of Stone, Wood and other natural materials
- Dried and Fresh Herbs
- Baked Goods
- Handmade Candles
- And much more ….
Education is such a vital part of handing down traditions and teaching the next generation where their food and other items come from. It is the link to insuring that these things will be carried on for generations to come. Therefore, an important aspect of our Farmers’ Market will be the Education Station.
Here we will offer a wide variety of seminars and workshops on everything pertaining to homesteading, crafting, farming and art. Some of the seminars planned are:
- Gardening in a Limited Space
- Raised Flower Boxes
- Bee Keeping
- Home Brewery
- Soap Making
- Healthy Smoothies & Wellness

FUN & FESTIVE
We plan on having LIVE MUSIC at least once a month to help complete the type of atmosphere we wish to provide our Downtown Richmond Farmers Market customers. Come out and enjoy some of our local and very talented artists!
Live music will be announced in advance, so check back and don’t miss out on these great free concerts!
Many of our Downtown Richmond KY businesses are getting involved and helping out with special offers and coupons that will be exclusive to the patrons of our Downtown Richmond KY Farmers Market.
